The Egyptian Red Crescent launched today, Sunday, the "Zad Al-Izza .. From Egypt to Gaza" convoy (No. 237), dispatching a fleet of trucks toward the Gaza Strip.

This initiative comes as part of its role as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to the Strip.

The convoy carried over 3,464 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, which included approximately 1,769 tons of food baskets and flour, over 260 tons of medical supplies, relief materials, and therapeutic medications, as well as around 1,435 tons of petroleum products required to operate hospitals and vital facilities across the Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present at the border since the onset of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing has never been closed from the Egyptian side.

The organization has maintained its state of readiness across all logistical centers, continuing its tireless efforts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid—which has exceeded one million tons—driven by the dedication of more than 75,000 volunteers.
