Egypt's Intelligence Chief Abbas Kamel left Cairo on Monday, heading to Gaza.
Kamel is set to hold talks with a number of Palestinian powers and factions.
He is accompanied by ministers from the Palestinian Authority.
Earlier Sunday, Kamel, leading an Egyptian security delegation, left Cairo for Israel and the Palestinian territories where he will discuss ways to firm up a ceasefire with Palestinian factions.
He held talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
