Egyptian exports of furniture recorded a remarkable increase during the recent period, as the value of Egyptian exports of furniture reached about EGP 388800000 last October compared to EGP 291312000 in October 2019, with an increase of about EGP97488000, according to government data.
According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the Egyptian furniture exports came among the exports of finished goods, whose total value amounted to about $1111000000 last October, compared to $196000000 in the same month in 2019. This achieved an increase of $14834000.
Among the most important exported goods, pasta amounted to $64503000 last October, compared to $63195000 in the same month in 2019, recording an increase of $1308000.
Egyptian imports of animal food declined slightly in the recent period, as the value of Egyptian imports of animal feed preparations amounted to about EGP 118528000 last October, compared to EGP 145984000 in October 2019, a decline of EGP 27456000.
According to the CAPMAS data, Egypt’s imports of animal food came within Egypt’s imports of non-durable consumer goods during last October. They declined significantly and amounted to about $117000000, compared to $1243000000in the same Month in 2019, a decrease of $226612000.
Egypt’s imports of broad beans recorded a slight increase in the recent period, as they reached about $25768000 last October, compared to $24458000 in October 2019, with an increase of about one $1310000, according to CAPMAS.
