Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, is set to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Abdelatty is scheduled to hold talks with senior Philippine officials and bilateral meetings with foreign ministers attending the gathering to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The foreign minister will also meet representatives of major Philippine companies and business leaders as part of efforts to enhance economic, trade and investment ties between Egypt and the Philippines and explore opportunities for cooperation across a range of sectors.
