Egypt’s First Lady Greets Egyptian People on Eid Al-Fitr

On Saturday, Egypt’s First Lady Intisar El Sisi greeted the Egyptian people and Muslim and Arab countries on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (Breaking fast feast) through her official Twitter account.

In her tweet, she sent her sincere greetings to all Egyptian people on Eid al-Fitr, expressing her best wishes for the Egyptian, Arab and Muslim nations on this occasion.

She also took this opportunity to express her sincere appreciation to all those who contribute to laying the foundations to build the Egyptian state.

Eid Al-Fitr is an Islamic feast Muslims usually gather to celebrate and mark the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting. However, this year, all celebrations are expected to be limited due to the global coronavirus crisis.

On Friday, El Sisi exchanged greetings with many Arab and Muslim Leaders on Eid al-FitrThe Islamic Eid Al-Fitr is set to start on Sunday, according to the Islamic calendar and lunar circle examined by the ‘Ifta’ House.Sisi has extended Eid greetings with Bahram Salih, President of Iraq; Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, the head of Sudan’s sovereign council; Mahmoud Abbas, Palestine’s President; Kais Saied, Tunisia’s President; Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of Algeria; Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, Kuwait’s Emir; Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

Moreover, the Egyptian president phoned the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. During the phone conversation, both leaders discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interests.

“All the Arab and Muslim leaders with whom President Sisi talked yesterday wished the Egyptian people permanent stability and progress,” Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

President Sisi also expressed his sincere appreciation for the greetings calls that he received and made, wishing all the Arab and Muslim peoples and governments prosperity and all the best.
