Egypt's Minister of Culture Neveen Al-Kilany held a meeting with Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi General Entertainment Authority, to discuss collaboration in culture and arts.
Osama Nugali, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo, and Amr El-Feki, CEO and Managing Director of the United Media Services Company, were also present at the meeting.
During their meeting, Al-Kilany welcomed the Saudi official in Cairo and emphasized the strong relationship and ties between the two countries. They discussed the best ways to support joint cooperation in various fields, including theatre, cinema, and singing. They also talked about the implementation mechanisms of a tripartite partnership between the Ministry of Culture, the Entertainment Authority, and the United Media Services Company.
Al-Sheikh expressed his country's keenness to extend cooperation with the Ministry of Culture. He proposed a program of activities that would take place between Cairo and Riyadh, including Egyptian theatrical performances, and musical and singing concerts.
Furthermore, Al-Sheikh highlighted that the Saudi Riyadh Seasons rely heavily on the participation of Egyptian artists in various fields, such as music, singing, and directing.
