In promising news for Egypt’s skilled workforce, the THAMM Plus initiative has officially opened applications for Egyptian trainees specializing in heating, air conditioning, and sanitary installations to access training and employment opportunities in Germany.
The program is implemented within the framework of ongoing cooperation between Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), in partnership with the Federal Employment Agency (BA).
THAMM Plus — which stands for “Towards a Holistic Approach to Labour Migration Governance and Labour Mobility in North Africa” — aims to promote safe, organized, and sustainable labor mobility pathways between North African countries and Germany. The program is co-funded by the European Union and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Eligible trainees in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and sanitary sectors are encouraged to review the application requirements and submit their forms through the official online platform of Egypt’s emigration portal.
The deadline for applications is March 26. Applicants are advised to complete the electronic form carefully and monitor their email inboxes for further updates regarding the selection process.
The initiative reflects continued efforts to expand structured overseas employment opportunities for Egyptian professionals while ensuring legal, transparent, and rights-based migration pathways.
