Great Pyramid of Giza is set to receive on Monday the 16th round of the men's and women's CIB Egyptian Squash Open Platinum event.
The preliminary stages of the tournament kicked off on Saturday at New Giza and will end on October 17.
The competition, which is considered one of the 8 largest international platinum tournaments, is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities as it witnesses the participation of 96 women and men squash players from 19 different countries.
On his part, the director general of the pyramids site at Giza pyramids Ashraf Mohie El-Din expressed his pleasure over receiving this event in Egypt.
He also added that this tournament will promote for tourism in Egypt.
