Egyptian Opera House to Mark Xmas with 3 Concerts in Cairo, Alex.

International songs and tableaus for ballet on the occasion of Christmas will be staged at Cairo and Alexandria Opera Houses 

On the occasion of Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, will organize 3 concerts in Cairo and Alexandria performed by the Cairo Opera Troupe under the supervision of its artistic director, Dr. Iman Mostafa.

The troupe will be accompanied by an Acapella choir, led by Maya Jiveneria, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Mohamed Saad Pasha.

The Cairo Opera Ballet Ensemble will be under the supervision of its artistic director Armenia Kamel, directed by Hisham Al-Tali

The program includes a selection of the most famous international songs written specifically for this occasion, accompanied by dancing tableaus, including The Quiet Night, White Christmas, All I want on Christmas is you, do you hear what I hear, 12 days of Christmas, this is Christmas, it is the most wonderful moment in year, around the Christmas tree, the Lord's prayer, the bell rings and others besides the waltz of roses from the ballet The Nutcracker.

These tableaus will be performed by Iman Mustafa, Reda Al-Wakeel, Tahia Shams Al-Din, Mustafa Muhammad, Mona Rafla, Walid Karim, Julie Faizi, Imad Adel, Dalia Farouk, Amina Khairat, Hani El Shafei, Jacqueline Rafeeq, Hisham El Gendy, Engy Mohsen, Amr Medhat, Laila Ibrahim, Ezzat Ghanem, Norsta Al Marghani, Elhamy Amin, Osama Ali, Salma Al Jabali, Tamer Tawfiq, Ibrahim Nagy, Burhan El Din Farouk.

It is worth mentioning that the Cairo Opera Troupe was officially formed in 1964; it presented many of the most famous international operas, and its repertoire includes more than 32 famous operatic novels. Its members also participated in huge performances on the largest theaters in the world and succeeded in forming a fan base interested in operatic singing as one of the finest forms of operatic singing arts.
