Tourism and Antiquities Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Anani witnessed on Wednesday the reopening of the Egyptian Museum at Al-Tahrir square to the public after its closure last March due to Coronavirus outbreak.
The Museum's reopening comes within the framework of the precautionary measures approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, to gradually re-open a number of museums and archaeological as of July 2020.
The minister was accompanied by a number of Ministry leaders including, Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Moamen Othman, Head of Museums' and archaeological sites sector.
