The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Essa headed the meeting of the National Civilization of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), where the members agreed upon establishing a new hall at the museum dedicated to showcasing the arts of the Egyptian mummification.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of the NMEC Ahmed Ghoniem presented briefly the activities and the revenues of the museum, in addition to the number of visitors.
He also reviewed the success of the latest services like providing visitors with Arabic and English translation for visitors, and the organizing of various concerts, cultural events, and workshops.
Regarding the establishment of the new hall, it is a continuation of the museum's display scenario, in addition to the value of the Egyptian mummification. This will help in enhancing the experience of the museum's visitors.
