Egyptian jewelry artist Heba El Nady presented a breathtaking high-end jewelry collection entitled, “Brave” for summer 2020.
El Nady's collection was inspired by Moroccan architecture and its art aesthetics. The collection also featured natural shapes of butterflies, flowers, and stars.
"This collection I have created in different stages of 2020, so we find various models in it, there is the Moroccan, which was inspired by the Moroccan architecture; it also features shapes of the butterfly, and cactus,” the designer said.
El Nady stated that she presented a new technique in her jewelry, which she featured in her oriental designs.
She introduced for the first time natural origin material to modern, the set that contains many bracelets in a smaller than usual, which comes in different colors; the collection also features the sparkling flower.
“I was experimenting with it, which met successful outcome, God willing, there will be a different collection available at the end of the year, given the success of this size and colors. It will be presented in wider, and various models," El Nady added.
* Brave
The Moroccan collection has been named, “Brave”, because the bracelets were shaped from the looks of ancient warriors uniform, while the ring and earning shape was inspired from the shield that they were holding to protect themselves from swords, but of course, it was presented in a different way.
However, the main reason for the name and idea was inspired from Disney’s 2012 Animation movie, “Brave”, whose protagonist is a brave, adventurous, and independent princess who loves to discover her universe by herself, she has a strong personality and disobeys orders that she does not like.
*Stars and roses
Stars and roses have a unique elegance in the look of every woman who seeks elegance, so the designer presented these designs.
“I presented flowers and stars in a shiny form to match with the spirit of summer, which is also because I feature a large collection of gold for the first time,” El Nady stated.
The designer offered the following tips for how to keep your jewelry shiny:
1- When exposed to water, do not fret, just dried it quickly.
2- Do not expose it to perfumes.
3- Do not expose it to chemicals, creams, shampoos, and the like.
