* New colors and styles

“New styles were used in this collection, including, stone jewelry coating or the polishing method, which gave it a smooth feeling,” she added.

El Masry blended many stones and enamel, where some of the designs were based on enamel coatings only.

The collection includes a variety of bright colors such as turquoise, dark red, green, black, blue, as well as soft and dark colors.

It also featured stones such as turquoise, onyx, sapphire, granite, Amethyst, and pearls.

“The reason I treat every design as an independent work of art is that I take into account the harmony and practicality; this persity allows women to choose what is suitable for them,” she revealed.

*Sources of inspiration

As for the sources that inspired this collection, she affirmed that everything she sees and touches her can be an idea for a design, which may generate a series of ideas.

“When designing I make adjustments that I find it adding more beauty to the design,” she added.

She revealed that plants and flowers continue to inspire her with “endless ideas”, as well as ancient civilizations such as Pharaonic, Assyrian and Chinese dominate her thoughts.

Mixed colors and units

The designer continued: “Because I am proud of being an Arab and an Egyptian, I find myself feeling nostalgic constantly to showcase the features of our cultural heritage, which sometimes imposes me to use Authentic pieces of known Sinai Etamine fabric,”

“In some pieces, I find that the design is suitable for putting some metal pieces that resemble old coins or pieces of tulle or silk to gain modernization and appropriate artistic appeal.”
