A phone call took place on Friday, between Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, and Abbas Araghchi, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, to follow up on the developments of the negotiating process between Iran and the United States.
Abdelatty emphasized the importance of continuing the US-Iranian talks with utmost seriousness and good faith to reach a final agreement that addresses the interests and concerns of all parties and contributes to enhancing regional and international security and stability.
He also stressed that diplomatic solutions remain the optimal path to addressing outstanding issues.
Furthermore, Abdelatty underscored the importance of conducting a regional dialogue to address the security concerns of all parties in a manner that respects the interests of the region's countries and contributes to consolidating regional security and stability, in accordance with the principles of international law, the UN Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness.
