Egyptian Emerging Universities Join Times Higher Education

12 Egyptian Emerging Universities had Joined British Times Higher Education this year; compared with only 3 universities last year.

Beni Suef, Kafr El-Sheikh, Mansoura and Suez Canal Universities ranked 151- 200. The Universities of Suhag and Tanta ranked 201- 205; Fayoum University ranked 251-301.

The list of 301 universities included: Helwan, Zagazig, Menofia and South Valley Universities.

This progress is a result of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egyptian Knowledge Bank's effort.

The rankings included specific fields such as: Education (30%), Research (30%), International relations (7.5%) including professors and students In addition to industrial income (2.5%)
