Egyptian contestant Laila Ghaleb wowed the judges of the German version of the popular talent show "The Voice".
The 20-year-old got a four-way buzzer. She won them over with her performance of "I Could Have Danced All Night", the title from the musical "My Fair Lady", which was previously performed by Julie Andrews.
Ghaleb chose Sarah Connor as her coach on the talent show.

The German Embassy in Cairo wished her luck on Twitter and noted that she was another source of pride and success for the graduates of the German School in Egypt.
Ghaleb, born and raised in Cairo, is the first Egyptian to participate in the talent show.
She went to a German kindergarten and graduated from the Deutsche Schule der Borromaerinnen Kairo (DSBK).
"Of course it was difficult to leave home when I was 13, but that made me who I am today," she commented.
Ghaleb is now studying information management and corporate communication at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. She lives in a student dormitory and has found a great group of 16 students there.
This was not her first appearance on the stage. She sang various operas in the Cairo Opera House. Then she switched to musicals and found herself in singing, acting, and dancing. Her dream is to become a singer.
She had also previously performed in front of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the conclusion of the 2019 Arab-African Youth Forum.
