The Egyptian actor Sayed Badreya, residing in the United States, revealed on Saturday that he will play the role of late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in a Hollywood new film that will be screened in 2020.
In a press statement, Badreya, said that all details regarding the film will be announced pending the completion of filming.
The Egyptian actor shared photos of him in the makeup of the film portraying the character of Saddam Hussein.
Badreya's appeared in his most recent film with Jackie Chan in "Vanguard," movie.
The Egyptian-US actor was born in 1957 in Port Said and he participated in a big number of movies and series, including, “American East”, “Iron Man”, “Cargo”, and “The Dictator”.
Before heading to Hollywood, Badreya studied acting in New York University Film School.
Badreya also provided motion capture and voice work for Pirate Ramses in "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception".
He previously won the Best Actor award from the 13th edition of ‘Action on Film Festival’ in Las Vegas for his role in the American movie ‘Aileron.’
It is noteworthy that the first work of Badreya in the Hollywood comedy "Hot Shot" in 1986, passing through a number of cinemas with huge production budgets, including "Iron Man" in 2008, in which he played the role of the leader of Arab terrorists, kidnapped billionaire "Tony" Stark, "embodies his role as a Hollywood star, Robert Downey Jr.
