The GEM Experience:
A "Mini-Museum" Concept
For the 2026 edition, the pavilion features a 200 m² scale model of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) at its entrance. Designed to provide an immersive experience, the structure mimics the GEM’s iconic main entrance and its signature glass pyramid.
Ancient Treasures:
The model showcases 72 authentic replicas from the treasures of King Tutankhamun, produced by the "Konouz Egypt Replicas" company.
Centerpiece:
While the collection differs from previous exhibitions at WTM London and FITUR, the Golden Mask of King Tutankhamun remains the focal point as the ultimate icon of ancient Egyptian civilization.
Digital Promotion & "Unmatched Diversity"
The pavilion’s facade is equipped with large high-definition screens broadcasting:
Breathtaking footage of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The latest promotional campaign by the Egyptian Tourism Authority titled “Unmatched Diversity,” highlighting Egypt’s unique blend of archaeological wonders and diverse tourism offerings.
Functional Design and Hospitality
The pavilion is anchored by a two-story main building which includes:
Private meeting rooms for the Minister, the Chairman of the Authority, and the working team.
Dedicated storage areas and a hospitality zone serving Egyptian refreshments.
Exhibitor Booths:
Designed as modern hospitality lounges, each booth features comfortable seating (a sofa and two chairs), a display screen, and prominent branding for each company.
The strategic placement of the mini-museum at the very front of the pavilion serves as the primary "magnet" for visitors, ensuring maximum engagement with Egypt's cultural heritage from the moment they enter the hall.
