Egypt Post unveiled a new version of its Easy Pay mobile application in partnership with eFinance, introducing an expanded suite of digital financial services as part of the country's broader drive to accelerate financial inclusion and digital transformation.

The upgraded platform consolidates a wide range of electronic financial services into a single application, enabling customers to manage payments, transfers, and account services through an enhanced digital experience powered by the latest technologies.

Dalia El Baz, Chairperson of Egypt Post, described the launch as a significant milestone in the organization's digital transformation strategy, saying the revamped application reflects Egypt Post's commitment to providing innovative financial solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers while supporting the government's financial inclusion agenda.

According to El Baz, the new version has undergone a comprehensive redesign to improve user experience, increase processing speed, and enhance overall efficiency. She added that the platform has been developed in line with the latest cybersecurity standards to safeguard customer data and ensure the confidentiality of financial transactions.

The application allows users to register using any Egypt Post-issued Visa or Meeza card and supports linking multiple cards to a single account, while also enabling customers to remove linked cards whenever needed. The feature is designed to provide greater flexibility in managing accounts and payment cards while encouraging wider adoption of electronic payment solutions.

The upgraded platform also introduces a comprehensive range of money transfer services, allowing customers to transfer funds between their own accounts as well as to other Egypt Post accounts and cards, providing secure and convenient payment solutions for individual users.

In addition, the application offers a full suite of account management tools, including real-time balance inquiries, account statements, temporary card suspension in cases of loss or theft, password changes, PIN updates, and self-service account deregistration.

Customers can also use the application to make a variety of electronic payments, including electricity bills, university tuition fees, and CNE payments. The platform further enables users to send domestic money transfers using the recipient's national ID number, with beneficiaries able to collect funds from any Egypt Post branch nationwide.

The new version also allows Easy Pay cards to be loaded with cash through Egypt Post offices across the country, further expanding access to digital financial services and simplifying everyday financial transactions.

Egypt Post said the upgraded Easy Pay application is now available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, giving customers immediate access to its expanded portfolio of secure digital financial services.
