The Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, held its only and final training session at Francistown Stadium, which will host tomorrow's match against Botswana in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The training session witnessed the participation of all players on the list, and signs of optimism appeared on the players' faces. The session also witnessed strong competition between all players to secure a place in the starting lineup.
On the other hand, Egyptian national team officials revealed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) was contacted to reject the new date for the Botswana match at nine o'clock tomorrow evening, Tuesday, and to commit to holding the match on time due to the commitment of professionals and players participating in their clubs in the Champions League and Confederation Cup to travel dates and official matches.
Egypt national team officials confirmed that they are awaiting the final response from CAF, whether to officially approve the new date or hold the match on its previously scheduled date at four o'clock in the afternoon.
