Egyptian, Jordanian, and Iraqi Foreign Ministers (FMs) are set to hold talks, later today in Baghadad.
This meeting comes within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism among the three countries.
In a statement, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry confirmed that a joint press conference will be held following the meeting.
Earlier, Iraqi Prime Minister (PM) Mustafa Al-Kadhimi announced the postponement of the tripartite summit between Iraq, Egypt and Jordan due to the Sohag train crash.
The Jordanian-Egyptian-Iraqi summit was scheduled to be hosted in Baghdad at the end of this month, in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II.
