Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Sunday a phone call from Head of Sudan's Transitional Military Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Presidency spokesman Bassam Rady said.
During the phone call, al-Burhan expressed his sincere and deepest condolences to President Sisi over the victims of the Sohag train crash, praying God Almighty to bless the victims with the breadth of his mercy and to inspire their families with patience and solace.
He also affirmed Sudan's solidarity with Egypt's government and people.
On his part, President Sisi al-Burhan for his keenness to offer condolences to accident victims. The President also affirmed the special and strong ties between both countries and peoples.
