The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Tuesday's daylight hours.

Hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast.

The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index by 1-3 degrees.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, limiting horizontal visibility.

Wind speeds between 30 and 35 (km/h) are expected to occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.

There is a 30% chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently El Salloum, Marsa Matruh, and Siwa.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 1.75 meters in height varying between northeast and northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Meanwhike, maritime navigation is expected to be disrupted in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez, with winds averaging 50 to 70 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5:4 meters.

Moderate and humid weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of Egypt at night and in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 37°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
