Health Affairs Presidential Advisor Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din announced Egypt's intention to purchase quantities of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
During his meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Moustafa Madbouly and a number of senior officials, Tag El-Din stressed that efforts are underway to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, in coordination with the African Union (AU).
It is worth mentioning that, Egypt has so far registered 220,658 cases since the outbreak began in February including 12,959.
