The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture denied what was circulated on social media and other news platforms about importing “shipments of spoiled seeds”.
The Cabinet Media Center contacted the ministry, which denied the news, stressing that there was “no truth” to the circulating news.
The Ministry appealed to citizens "not to be led by such false news, while obtaining information from its official sources."
