On Sunday, the Egyptian State Information Service announced that Egypt will increase its daily dispatch of aid trucks to the Gaza Strip to more than 300. Diaa Rashwan, the head of the State Information Service, revealed that over the recent days of Ramadan, a total of 322 aid trucks crossed from Egypt into northern Gaza. He added that since the onset of the Israeli offensive, 19,354 trucks loaded with aid have passed through the Rafah crossing into the sector.

Rashwan also shed light on Egypt's role in providing medical assistance, stating that 3,764 injured and ill Palestinians, accompanied by 6,191 individuals, have been admitted into Egypt for treatment in its hospitals. Moreover, the country has facilitated the entry of 66,759 foreign nationals and dual citizens, alongside 6,330 Egyptians, through the Rafah border.

Highlighting the dire situation in Gaza, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi earlier emphasized the grave humanitarian conditions that have reached the brink of famine. He called for immediate international collaboration to expedite the delivery of relief aid to all regions of Gaza. President el-Sisi's appeal underscores the critical need for international efforts to address the humanitarian crisis and support the Palestinian people during this challenging period.
