This morning, Deputy Minister of Education Reda Hegazy confirmed that everything is under control as the new academic year started in a number of schools and universities in Egypt.
“A strong start while schools are keen on exercises for the students ’physical fitness, Hegazy said. “Students demonstrated full commitment to school uniforms.”
“The distance between each student and a colleague is not less than a meter, with the students' temperature being measured,” Hegazy continued. “ A health official will always be present in schools.”
“Curriculum will be broadcast on educational channels explaining the full courses sufficiently,” he mentioned.
“No crowding, every student uses his/her tools only,” he advised students.
He also affirmed that the ministry and the state are keen on children’s health, indicating that there is a long-term plan for distance education applied in schools through online platforms, in case if a second wave of Coronavirus spread and the study was suspended.
