New Academic Year 2020-2021 Kicks off Today

The new academic year 2020-2021 kicks off today, Saturday, in a number of schools and universities in Egypt.

Preparations for the new academic year began weeks ago, by disinfecting and sterilizing schools and classrooms to confront the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Ministry of Education imposed strict measures on schools ahead of the start of the new school year.

It stressed that the study plan relies on reducing the density of students through redistributing the classes and the multiplying learning sources without affecting the academic content.

Meanwhile, the universities prepared for the new school year by launching a number of electronic platforms to upload academic courses on them.

Earlier, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, denied postponing the school year in Egyptian universities.
