English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran can’t seem to stop reminding fans: “Autumn is coming.” While it is possible that the pop superstar is just really, really passionate about the fall season, Sheeranator are pretty sure that he’s actually teasing the arrival of a new project.

The singer, 32, released his latest album "Subtract" three months ago and is coming to the end of his Mathematics world tour.

During a show in Minneapolis, Ed teased fans by performing three new songs from the upcoming record.

The hitmaker told the crowd that the songs were a "good playlist for autumn" before concluding the show by adding: "Autumn is coming, I will see you soon."

Sheeran has been cryptically dropping the phrase “autumn is coming” for a couple of weeks now, using it to caption a number of Instagram photos and videos. One of the photos was a meme of the musician standing in front of a fall landscape, with all of the leaves replaced with hundreds of pictures of him and his ginger hair.

Furthermore, the “Bad Habits” singer shared Sunday a montage of clips from his time in Minneapolis, where he recently broke U.S. Bank Stadium’s attendance record with his Mathematics Tour.

In the caption, he wrote: “Had an absolute blast. Left some clues around the stadium about autumn coming. Did you know autumn is coming?”

While in Minneapolis, Sheeran surprised fans when he swapped the stage for a shift at the Lego store in Mall of America, where he sang a surprise performance of his 2013 hit “Lego House”.

The singer also passed out his own custom Lego figurine, which wears a shirt reading — you guessed it — “Autumn is coming.”

Hundreds of unsuspecting fans were shocked when they saw him behind the counter happily signing LEGO boxes, handing out gifts, and taking pictures with anyone who asked.

Sheeran ended his ‘shift’ with an acoustic version of his hit song LEGO House, which he played to hundreds of adoring fans queuing outside.

He then teased fans by hinting at new music.

Posting a short video to Instagram, the multi-award-winning songwriter held up a new LEGO figurine to the camera which sported red hair and a t-shirt with the words "Autumn is Coming" written across it.

Ed then reiterated the message by saying he would be giving out some of the mini figures at his upcoming gig and that ‘Autumn IS coming’.

He then changed his Instagram icon to a picture of an acorn and during his Minneapolis show, revealed that Subtract was his last album with his current major record label.
