The 2025 Hollywood Creative Alliance will hand out seven honorary awards, which is set to take place on January 9 in Los Angeles.
The honorees will be Dylan O’Brien (Game Changer Award), Hikari (Filmmaker on the Rise Award), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Trailblazer Award), Madeleine McGraw (Star on the Rise Award), Park Chan-wook (Filmmaking Achievement Award), Sharon Stone (Timeless Award), and the creators of "Bob Trevino Likes It" (Independent Spotlight Award).
“I am incredibly proud of this year’s lineup, which I believe is one of our strongest to date,” said Matthew Cole Weiss, EVP of The Astra Awards. “This year’s honorees represent excellence both in front of and behind the camera, with a remarkable range of talent, experience, and storytelling that spans generations and continents. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of these exceptional individuals whose work continues to inspire audiences around the world.”
The Astra Film Awards celebrate artists working across film and TV. The awards are handed out by the Hollywood Creative Alliance.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s epic "One Battle After Another" leads Astra Film Award noms, with 11 nods, including Best Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay. All six of the film’s main cast are also nominated.
The Astra Awards revealed its craft winners in early December. Ryan Coogler’s "Sinners" and Guillermo Del Toro’s "Frankenstein" led the list of winners, with three gongs each.
