British-Albanian singer Dua Lipa‘s breakout hit "New Rules” has crossed three billion views on YouTube, marking her first clip to hit that milestone.
It is also her only music video to surpass a billion views on the streaming platform thus far.
“New Rules” was released back in 2017 as a single from the three-time Grammy winner’s eponymous debut studio album.
The visual for the single was helmed by Henry Scholfield and earned widespread acclaim for its art direction and choreography, reaping a British video of the year nod at the 2018 BRITs and a song of the year nomination at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
Her positions are bolstered by the success of her two most recent singles: “Houdini" and “Dance the Night” (from Barbie). The latter is up for two awards at the Sunday (Feb. 4) Grammy ceremony.
Recently, Lipa has teased her next single, “Training Season,” slated for a Feb. 15 release.
