The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Fayoum University witnessed the honoring of Dr. Fatma Abdel Rasoul, a distinguished tour guide and university alumna, in recognition of her inspiring career and active contributions to community service. The tribute celebrates her as a role model embodying the success of the university’s graduates while motivating students toward excellence, creativity, and leadership.
The honoring took place during a workshop organized by the faculty titled "Real Labor Market Requirements," held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University. The event was supervised by Professor Dr. Assem Al-Eisawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Taher Hassan Mohamed, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
The workshop aligns with the university's strategy to strengthen partnerships with labor market institutions and solidify integration between academic outcomes and professional realities, thereby enhancing the skills of students and graduates and boosting their competitive readiness.
Furthermore, the workshop aimed to establish an integrated vision uniting the university, government entities, private sector institutions, and alumni. This collaborative effort seeks to build more efficient and sustainable career paths, while preparing qualified cadres equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to keep pace with the rapid changes in the labor market, particularly in the fields of tourism, hospitality, tour guiding, and services.
