Dorra-Led Play "Arosa Min Geha Electroniya" to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 19

Tunisian actress, Dorra Zarrouk's new play "Arosa Min Geha Electroniya" is scheduled to make its debut in December, within the activities of Riyadh season, in Saudi Arabia.

The cast also includes Ahmed Eid, Badria Tolba, Mohamed Tharwat, Yasser El Tobgy, and more.

The play's official synopsis reads: "One of the major companies for the manufacture of electronic devices chooses the refrigeration technician, Hassan, to conduct a marriage experiment with Hanan, an electronic woman, for one month only, in exchange for a large financial fee. When the month ends, the company insists on recovering Hanan, but Hassan discovers that he has fallen in love with her, so he begins to do the impossible to get her back, especially after he knows that she also loves him."

"Arosa Min Geha Electroniya" is set to be staged at the Global Theater in Boulevard Riyadh City, on December 19. 

It is set to be staged at the Riyadh Season 2023 in Saudi Arabia. The 4th edition of the Riyadh Season is held under the slogan of "Big Time" and will kick off on October 28.

On the other hand, Zarrouk is set to star alongside her longtime collaborator, Hani Salama in the TV series "El Zanb" (Guilt).

The project marks the fourth collaboration between Zarrouk and Salama. 

They previously collaborated on the 2007 film "Alawela Fil Gharam" (2007), the 2016 TV series "Naseeby We Esmetak", and the 2021 TV series "Bayn El Samaa Wa El Ard".

Zarrouk, born on January 13, 1980, made her way into the acting industry by joining a theater group, where her first appearance was in the play “Magnoun” (Crazy), directed by Tawfiq Al Gibally, which was followed by several roles at the Tunisian cinema.

She also worked in many international projects such as “Collosseum” which was directed by the English director Telman Reem in 2003, where she portrayed the Emperor’s consort.

Zarrouk also took part in another foreign work titled “Louisa’s Journey” which was directed by French director Patrick Foulsan in 2005, where she portrayed the role of a woman named “A’isha” in that work.

The 43-year-old actress has been participating in Egyptian cinematic works since 2007.

Zarrouk is best known for her roles in the 2017 film “Tisbah ala Khair”, in the 2016 film “Mawlana”, and the 2016 film “Kedbet Kol Youm”.

She is also known for her roles in television series “El Share’A Elly Warana”, “Naseeby We Esmetak”, “Baad Al Bedaya”, “Zarf Esswed”, “Segn El Nessa”, “Zay El Ward”, “Al Rayan”, and “Al Aar”.
