Egyptian Association of Graduates of Russian, Soviet Universities Congratulates Gatin on New Post

Director of The Egyptian Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities Sherif Gad sent a congratulatory telegram to Murad Gatin, on his new post as Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt.

In the telegram, Gad wished him further progress and success in his new mission, pointing out that Gatin's appointment reflects Russia’s desire to consolidate cultural ties with Egypt, thanks to his great experience in the Egyptian culture and the wide-ranging achievements he made during his tenure as the director of the Russian Cultural Center in Alexandria.

On his part, Dr. Fathi Toghan, the Association Secretary-General expressed his happiness at the appointment of Gatin as the director of Russian cultural centers in Egypt.

Moreover, he expressed keenness to boost cooperation between both sides, in order to build more bridges of communication between the Egyptian and Russian cultures.

It is worth mentioning that, Murad Gatin was born in Tatarstan, and graduated from Kazan State University and the Institute of Theology and Arabic Language at Al-Azhar University.

Gatin holds a master’s degree in the field of government and public administration from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

He was also appointed as Director of the Department of Cooperation with Religious Societies of Tatarstan presidency. In December 2018, he became Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Alexandria.
