Dina El Sherbiny Teams Up with Amr Youssef in Film "Darwish Al Masry"

Dina El Sherbiny and Amr Youssef have found their next collaboration in the action-comedy film "Darwish Al Masry".

While plot details and release date remain under wraps, the pic is hailing from scriptwriter Wissam Sabry and director Waleed El Halfawy. Mohamed Hefzy is producing.

Principal photography is set to begin soon.

The pair recently was seen in the romance-action film “Shaqo” (Brothers).

The star-studded film debuted in the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon and also stars Yousra, Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more.

The film is scripted by Wissam Sabri, helmed by Karim El Sobky, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky.

The cast also includes Yousra, Mohamed Mamdouh, Dina El Sherbiny Amina Khalil, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more.

“Shaqo” marks the fifth collaboration between El Sherbiny and Youssef after the 2012 TV series "Taraf Talet", the 2016 TV series "Grand Hotel", the 2017 TV series "Asham Iblis", and the 2016 film "Kedbet Kol Youm".

Youssef recently made a cameo appearance on season 2 of El Sherbiny's family comedy TV series "Kamal Al Adeed Plus One".

The film is inspired by the novel "Prince of Thieves" and is a action romantic comedy genre that follows a group of outlaw friends.
