Egyptian singer-actor Diab is collaborating with actress Mona Zaki in a new TV series, which is set to screen in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
Director Mohamed Shaker Khodeir is helming the project from a script by screenwriters Khaled and Sherine Diab.
The untitled project marks the first collaboration between Diab and Zaki.
The actor participated last Ramadan with TV series “Nasl Al-Agrab”, starring Ahmed El Sakka and Amir Karara.
Diab can be seen in the TV series “El Motahma” (The Accused).
The 10-episode series also stars Dorra Zarrouk, Osama Abbas, Adel Karam, and others.
It is a Shahid original series that arrives from Tamer Nady.
It was initially titled “El Mashraha” (The Morgue) and was filmed entirely in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
“El Motahma” is centered around Nourhan (played by Zarrouk) facing many problems including being charged with murder and turning into a fugitive as she tries to discover the truth.
