As premiere date approaches, Marvel has released new footage from the "Hawkeye" spinoff series "Echo" that acts as an appetizer for the highly-anticipated series "Daredevil: Born Again" set to debut sometime in 2025.

"Echo" features many firsts for the Marvel Studios being the first show that will debut simultaneously on streaming platforms, the first that will have every episode available to binge at once, the first to receive the rate TV-MAm, and the first superhero series ever to center on a deaf and a Native American character: Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox).

The series consists of five episodes and follows the origin story of Maya Lopez aka Echo whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown.

She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.

Cox made her debut in the MCU as Echo in Marvel's "Hawkeye" in December 2021 serving as one of Kingpin's (Vincent D'Onofrio) top lieutenants in the Tracksuit Mafia.
