Egyptian actress Dalia Moustafa and her husband, fellow actor Sherif Salama have parted ways after 21 years of marriage.
A source close to the couple confirmed that they got an amicable divorce.
This came after a year of disagreement that arose between them, which ended in a secret separation.
The couple met while Moustafa was studying at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.
They tied the knot in 2004 after a love story. The marriage resulted in a daughter, Salma, and a son, Salim.
Born on April 12, 1980, Moustafa began her acting career by working as a model in commercials.
While attending the Higher Institute for Theatrical Arts, she appeared in small screen roles from 1996 to 2000, until she booked a role in the movie "Shorts, T-Shirt and Cap".
She landed her breakthrough role in the TV series "Aleisyan" (2002), which she followed with many successful series, including "Awlad al'akabir", "Abdeen Palace", and the movie "The President’s Chef" (2008).
