Dr. Jehan Zaki, Minister of Culture, received Mr. Gohar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting follows the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the newly formed government to establish a joint action plan aimed at supporting generations "Alpha" and "Z." This collaboration seeks to enhance awareness, foster human development, and preserve Egyptian identity amidst rapid global transformations.
The two ministers agreed on the immediate implementation of a comprehensive program featuring cultural and artistic activities across Culture Palaces and Youth Centers nationwide. The initiative will specifically target rural villages, border governorates, and underserved areas, ensuring that cultural services reach all segments of society through an integrated operational framework.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture emphasized the importance of installing cinema screens under the Ministry’s supervision to showcase films that uphold societal values, promote aesthetic appreciation, and reinforce national identity. She also highlighted a multifaceted approach focusing on the creative economy, cultural policy-making, and international cooperation to empower youth and position them prominently on the global cultural and artistic map.
> "Collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports is an absolute necessity in these times of growing international challenges," stated Dr. Jehan Zaki. "It is essential to build a 'moral bulwark' through our younger generations to counter intellectual fallacies and misinformation that conflict with the truth, the achievements of the New Republic, and Egypt Vision 2030."
For his part, Minister Gohar Nabil affirmed that this partnership embodies the integration of state institutions to raise a generation equipped with knowledge. He noted that Youth Centers serve as "enlightening platforms" capable of hosting cultural programs that shape the consciousness of new generations, particularly Generations "Alpha" and "Z."
"The current stage requires concerted efforts to confront intellectual challenges by providing meaningful content that strengthens national belonging and immunizes youth against distorted ideologies," Nabil added. He confirmed that the Ministry will expand joint activities across all governorates, aligning with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030 and reinforcing the role of youth as active partners in the nation’s development.
