The Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno received South Korea's Ambassador Yonghyon to discuss the means of enhancing the mutual cooperation between both countries.
Moreover, they discussed the preperations for celebrating the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Egypt and South Korea.
They also examined the availabe appourtinties to support the partnership between both countries in the activities organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, in addition to cultural and creative investments.
Hanno asserted the importance of deepening the relationships between both countries in the field of culture as the investment in the field of soft powers which a strategic mean.
The Minister also highlighted that the Egyptian youth are fans for Korean culture, especially movies, and anime which opened new horizons for mutual cooperation between the two countries.
On his side, the Ambassador asserted the importance of supporting the bilateral ties between the two countries.
He also expressed his pleasure for the positive progress of the mutual relations between Egypt and South Korea, refering to several agreements between both countries in field of culture, represented in the Egyptian youth's interest in learning Korean and having scholarships from the Korea Cultureal Center in Cairo.
