Egyptian Minister of Culture Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem held a meeting with the South Korea Ambassador to Egypt Hong Jin-Wook today. They discussed reviewing cultural and artistic cooperation methods on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishing the mutual ties between both states.
Abdel Dayem praised the cooperation between both peoples. She also pointed out the continuity of the Egyptian and South Korean events virtually during the COVID-19 outbreak.
She also asserted the role of soft powers in deepening the relationships between peoples globally.
On his behalf, Jin-Wook expressed the greatness of the Egyptian civilization and its influences on other civilizations. Next, he asserted that he is following the different activities that take place in Egypt in the light of applying protection measures.
Moreover, he praised the cultural awakening mood that Egypt has currently. He also expressed his pleasure with the Egyptian fans who supported the Korean drama.
Finally, he revealed his wishes of producing mutual Egyptian and Korean musical and film projects.
Both sides agreed upon resuming executing some cultural projects after the end of the pandemic.
