On Friday, Cairo Opera House and the Ministry of Culture kicked off the 'Masters' project with the iconic singer's Medhat Saleh concert.
Dr. Neven El Kilany, and a number of officials attended the concert.
El Kilany revealed that the 'Masters' project is just the beginning of the ministry's plan to re-introducing the Egyptian musical heritage. Re-introducing the classic masterpieces in a more contemporary spirit will help in connecting the younger generations with the Egyptian heritage and legacy.
The Minister highlighted that the great feedback of the first concert is a good indication. She added that the sold-out concert expressed the high and unique taste of the Egyptians.
She also asserted that Egypt is always a center and hub of arts and creativity.
El Kilany concluded that more concerts will be introduced in different occasions, including Citadel Festival for Arabic Music, and other summer concerts across Egypt.
