Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, witnessed today, Wednesday morning, the opening ceremony of the 14th session of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority, under the slogan "Minds Are Formed". It will run from May 3 to May 14 at the Sharjah Expo Centre.
The Ruler of Sharjah and the Minister of Culture inspected the pavilion of the Egyptian General Book Authority, which included 230 new titles of books for children and young adults.
Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, expressed her happiness at the Egyptian participation in the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival in its fourteenth edition, within the framework of the fruitful cultural cooperation between Egypt and the UAE in general, and the Emirate of Sharjah in particular.
