MGM released Wednesday the final trailer for the third installment of “Creed”.

The movie, which is the ninth installment in the “Rocky” franchise, features Michael B. Jordan in his third go-around as Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky Balboa’s fiercest competitor Apollo Creed.

It will once more center around Adonis making his way into the boxing rings and carrying on the legacy of Rocky and Apollo.

The movie follows the rivalry between Adonis and Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors).

Creed grew up knowing Damian, who was only recently released from prison at the beginning of the movie, though they don't stay friends for long.

It also follows Adonis and Bianca's (Tessa Thompson) relationship and Damian threatening their stability.

The cast features Phylicia Rashad reprising her role as Adonis' stepmother Mary Anne and real-life boxing athletes Tony "Bomber" Bellew, Jacob "Stitch" Duran, Canelo Álvarez, and Florian Munteanu.

“Creed III” will be the first “Rocky” movie without veteran actor Sylvester Stallone — who created the character and played the ultimate underdog Rocky Balboa in eight movies — at least making an appearance.

Stallone reprised his iconic role in the previous two installments as a mentor to Adonis.

The “Creed” sequel wraps up with Adonis making peace with his late father’s burdensome legacy and Rocky traveling to Vancouver to bury the hatchet with his estranged son and meet his grandson.

The movie, which was shot using Imax cameras, began production in early 2022 and wrapped in the middle of the year.

Jordan is also directing the movie in his feature filmmaking debut.

Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin wrote the screenplay based on a story by Ryan Coogler, who directed the original “Creed".

The first spinoff was released in theaters in 2015 and followed the son of world champion boxer Apollo Creed. It successfully revived the “Rocky” franchise by grossing $109 million domestically and $173 million globally.

The sequel hit theaters in 2018 and generated $115 million in North America and $214 million worldwide.

"Creed III" premieres in theaters on March 3.
