The recovery rate from COVID-19 at Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached its highest level at 85.2%, according to the health ministry spokesman, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health revealed that the number of people recovering from the virus increased to 387,700 cases.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt reported on Sunday 2131 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total infection tally up to 454,952 since the outbreak began in February 2020, according to the Health Ministry.
The ministry also reported 57 new deaths in the past 24 hours nationwide, bringing the total fatalities nationwide to 23,349.
The statement added that the total number of recoveries was 387,700.
