Coronavirus Cases Worldwide Surpass 386 Mln

Johns Hopkins University announced on Friday that more than 386.05 million people were infected with Coronavirus worldwide.

In recent weeks, Egypt has implemented new preventive measures at airports, seaports, and land crossings to control the surge in coronavirus cases.

On Thursday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 2281 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 432761.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 22,683 nationwide after the ministry announced 45 deaths.

About 2003 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 22780 .

Egypt has managed so far to vaccinate around 40.2% of people against the Coronavirus, according to health officials.
