In light of the still-existing fears of the spread of the novel coronavirus, especially in the event of resuming schools, and to reassure parents of safer precautionary measures, many initiatives have been launched that use ideas outside the box to protect students.
Among these initiatives, which were well received and circulated on social media, was the group of Elham Qaitbay Schools, namely; Retaj Maadi, Pioneers Maadi, Retaj Nasr City, Retaj Fifth Settlement, Qaitbay Fifth Settlement, and Retaj Administrative Capital.
It is the first group of schools to adopt the latest scientific and medical methods in preserving students' health from the dangers of the coronavirus causing COVID-19 disease.
The educational group began by making sterilization gates at all school entrances and installing medical barriers on discs, separating each student from the other so that each student would be isolated from the other student, which was installed by a medical company specializing in medical barriers in hospitals, according to local media reports.
The users of social media described the initiative as unique, which actually aims to protect and preserve students within the distancing measures announced by the Ministry of Health, calling on the rest of the schools and the educational bodies to activate such a step to check on students, and not to be afraid of returning them to schools.
