The health authorities in Britain announced today, Wednesday, that 492 people died of Coronavirus, which is the largest number since mid-May.

Also, 25,177 new infections with the deadly virus were detected, compared with 20,018 infections that were detected on Tuesday.

This brings the total number of virus deaths to 47,742, and infections to 1, 1 million across the country.

British lawmakers agreed on Wednesday to impose a month-long lockdown in England, as they voted in favor of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plan to contain the pandemic that is spinning out of control and straining health workers.

On the other hand, the Italian Ministry of Health announced, this evening, Wednesday that it had recorded 30,550 infections and 352 new deaths from the Coronavirus in the country.

The Ministry stated, in a new statistic, that the number of registered infections with the emerging coronavirus "COVID-19" in Italy during the past 24 hours increased by 30550, to reach the level of 790337 cases.

This outcome indicates an increase in the daily incidence of Coronavirus in Italy, which reached on November 2, 22253, and November 3, 28244.

The Italian Ministry of Health also added that it had detected 352 new deaths due to the disease, bringing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 39,764 cases.

This comes after Italy recorded, on November 2, 233 deaths of the pandemic, and on November 3, 353, which represented the highest daily increase since May 6.

For weeks, Italy has been facing unprecedented increases in daily infections with the Coronavirus, although the death index is considered so far from its peak levels when this number exceeded the level of 900 cases.

Against the background of these developments, the Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, confirmed new restrictions while allowing mayors to impose a night curfew in their areas, with the closure of theaters, cinemas, sports and markets, and the limit of restaurant hours.
