Authorities in China announced today that the death toll of the new strain of the Coronavirus in the country rose to 2,236 cases, and the number of infected persons leaped to 75,465 cases until the past 24 hours.

The deadly virus was renamed as COVID19 by the World Health Organization (WHO)

The National Health Committee of China (NHCC) released a statement that the statement says that the Health Affairs Committee has received data from 31 provinces across the country.

That data confirms that 75,465 people were infected.

At the present time, there are 54,000 965 patients, of whom (11,633 are in crucial health condition.

18,264 people have discharged from hospitals after they recovered.

The statement issued by the NHCC pointed out that during the last 24 hours, 889 new cases of infection were discovered throughout the country.

Throughout the last 24 hours, 118 people died ,115 of them were in the middle part of Hubei Province.

Director-General of the (WHO), Tedros Adhanum Gebresos, told reporters during a press conference held in Geneva, Switzerland, that "the continuous decline in the number of new cases of coronavirus in China is encouraging, but it is too early to know whether this trend will continue in the future or not.

On the other hand, Dr. Trevor Bedford, the senior researcher at Fred Hutchinson Center for Cancer in Seattle, USA, said that the coronavirus has developed in the environment naturally.

Another researcher who studies the deadly virus pointed out that the virus which is known officially now as COVID-19 is not a product of generic geometry.

Dr. Bedford went on to say that the developments of the virus went according to the natural grading.

The viruses cope with many challenges in the environment so they change deeply.

The new strains of the viruses make treatment more complicated.

The deadly virus killed hundreds and infected tens of thousands in China alone.

On the other hand, researchers in India published a paper claimed that the new strain of the Coronavirus resembles suspiciously the one of deficiency of immunity in the human body.

But later experts found out that the paper had fake evidence.

Most of the scientists believe that the Coronavirus is transmitted from bats to human beings.

Bat meat is one of the popular dishes in China.
