Cinema is one of the streams of culture that helps to build human beings, it also represents the mirror of societies , so, Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, the President of Cairo University, signed a cooperation protocol with the 41st Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), chaired by producer and scriptwriter Mohamed Hefzi, to deepen cultural and artistic aspects.
Elkhosht said that the university believes in the importance of arts in developing mind and building conscience, in addition to the importance of cinema as a global human language, adding that we must open the doors to real artistic creativity.
The President of Cairo University noted that the protocol includes the allocation of discount tickets for students of Cairo University , in addition to inviting students to attend activities of the Cairo International Film Festival and the technical press conferences and to participate in art criticism.
On his part, Hefzi praised the project of developing the Egyptian mind adopted by Cairo University.
